By Car

Hamble Sports Complex is located on the campus of Hamble Community Sports College (formally Hamble Community Secondary School), at Satchell Lane, Hamble, Southampton, Hampshire, SO31 4NE.

Coming from the M27

• Leave the M27 at Junction 8. You will go down a sliproad to a large rounderbout with the M27 passing over it.
• If you have come from the Southampton direction (Junctions 5, 6, 7) then at the rounderbout turn right (3rd exit). If you have come from the Portsmouth direction (Junctions 11, 10, 9) then at the rounderbout turn left (1st exit). You will now be heading towards Hamble-le-Rice and Butlock's Heath.
• You will drive down a short length of dual-carridgeway. Stay in the left hand lane.
• You will arrive at a large rounderbout. Take the second junction off it, signposted to Hamble. You will now be passing a Tescos Extra on your left. (Stay in the right-hand lane otherwise you will be directed into the Tescos carpark). This road is the B3397, which you will travel down for approximately 1.5 miles.
• Go straight over the small Tesco's roundabout. (2nd exit)
• Go straight over another small rounderbout. (2nd exit)
• Go straight over at some traffic lights, and keep going down this road. You will pass a few vegetable stalls as you go.
• You come to a (new) roundabout. Go straight over. (1st exit)
• Turn almost immediately left into Satchell Lane.
• Follow Satchell Lane (which heads round to the right) and take the first right (before the bridge).
• Hamble Sports Complex car park is the gate to the left.

Coming from Netley

• Main access is from Hound Road.
• Turn towards Hamble/Tescos.
• Take 2nd exit off small roundabout, heading towards Hamble.
• Turn almost immediately left into Satchell Lane.
• Follow Satchell Lane (which heads round to the right) and take the first right (before the bridge).
• Hamble Sports Complex car park is the gate to the left.

Coming from Hamble

• Hamble Lane Route.
• Once on Hamble Lane head towards Tescos/M27 motorway.
• You will pass shops on your right and the Harrier Pub on your right.
• Head past the Police Training College and over the Railway bridge.
• Just before you reach the small roundabout, take the right hand turning on to Satchell Lane.
• Follow Satchell Lane (which heads round to the right) and take the first right (before the bridge).
• Hamble Sports Complex car park is the gate to the left.

By Bus

City Buses, number 16, and Solent Blueline buses, numbers 25 and 25a, pass near Hamble Community Sports College/Hamble Sports Complex. There is a bus stop just opposite the gates to the school, one stop after the Train Station bus-stop.

By Train

Hamble Train Station is 5 minutes walk from the Hamble Community Sports College/Hamble Sports Complex. Note that some trains don’t stop at Hamble Station, so make sure before hand!
